📓 My Summary

After the events of the Goblet of Fire Harry is becoming frustrated with Ron and Hermione, his best friends, due to their non-communication. One evening Harry and his cousin Dudley are attacked by Dementors, Azkaban guards. Harry fends them off with a Pratronus charm and is whisked away to Number 12 Grimmauld Place, Sirius’ family home, to attend his hearing for performing underage magic, particularly in front of a muggle.

Dumbledore helps Harry be found not guilty so Harry is able to attend Hogwarts again that year. The events that proceed a difficult for Harry and his friends with the knowledge their family and friends are risking their lives…

🧠 Overall Thoughts

I find this book the hardest to read in the series. It is not only the longest book but also Harry is going through his teenage moodiness throughout the book and can become quite annoying. We also loose a major character towards the end of this book. I like how this book talks about grief and bereavement when it is fresh for people.
